Beautiful 'Country style' cottage, located on the edge of beautiful Green Lake, known for its great tranquility and located in the hearth of Val-des-Bois. The location is ideal for those in need of a good rest. The holy peace.
Motor boats are prohibited. Only human propelled marine devices such as canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and pedal boards are allowed. The lake is approximately 55ft deep and offers a very clear water, ideal for scuba diving activities (summer clearness is up to near 30ft, as determined by the Secchi disk method). The beach mainly consisting in sand with fine gravel is clean, smooth and shallow over a good distance (approximately 2ft deep at 30ft from the shore), is very secure.
The cottage offers a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a bathroom (with an antique cast iron bath) and a closed bedroom on the main floor, as well as a loft with a king bed and 2 day beds on the upper level.
Kitchen accessories (dishes, cutlery, etc.) and a propane BBQ are provided (gas included). However, you must bring your bedding (sheets, blankets or sleeping bags), your pillow covers, towels and dish cloths.
A fire pit is provided. Wood is available on site ($).
A private dock is available to our guests, along with a pedal boat and a kayak. However you must provide your own safety life jackets.
