| My husband and I spent a weekend this fall in this lovely cottage. It is everything a cottage should be - peaceful, cozy, rustic, charming. It is well-equipped with everything we needed. The screened in porch was a great place to read, and of course no mosquitoes there. The setting in nature is gorgeous. We went canoeing on the lake three times, and only saw one rowboat the entire time. We really appreciated the lack of noisy motorboats, and no water skiing, tubing, etc which scares away wildlife and is annoying when trying to enjoy serenity. We saw and heard loons on the lake, and watched a Belted Kingfisher swooping over the cove. There aren't many cottages around the lake, which makes for a very serene experience. It was the perfect escape from the city. Geneviève is a wonderful host, and was responsive to our questions. We highly recommend staying here!

| We loved our visit to this cottage! It is very welcoming and charming, and the privacy on the property was great - it felt like an isolated cabin in the woods. We rarely heard or saw anyone else, even on the water, and the kids and dog were free to roam the large property.
The cottage itself is well-equipped and in great condition. The screened-in porch was perfect for evenings and night time to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about mosquitos. The basement got quite damp during the rainy week we were there, but that wasn't a big problem. It was perfect for our family, just be aware there is an open staircase that would not be safe for toddlers.
The view off the dock was lovely, and there is a giant turtle who came by regularly to visit, much to the excitement of our kids. Canoe and paddle boats were provided and put to good use! Fishing rods are also provided and it was easy to catch small fish right off the dock.
One downside is that swimming off the dock is quite weedy (which we were warned about beforehand) so a short canoe paddle is needed to get out to the lake and clearer water - which was fine for swimming.
The owner was friendly, responsive, and helpful.
A great cottage for a secluded family getaway!

| This is a wonderful get away place if you love a cozy organic feel to a cabin and love nature.
There aren't many cottages on this lake so we were able to canoe and explore its wonderful surroundings. We enjoyed a family of ground hogs who played in the front yard, lots of different types of birds and even got to see a beautiful Luna moth which had attached it self to the living room window screen.
Geneviève the owner is very pleasant to deal with, she answers your email in a quick manner.
I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful charming cottage.
