Delightful 3 bedroom open space cottage, cathedral ceiling with wooden beams and slate fireplace. Very clean, wooden walls and floating floors in every rooms (NO CARPET), lots of windows providing natural lighting. Dead end location on a flat turf ground, ideal for children. Only 1 km away from the local grocery store + SAAQ (alcool). The cottage is facing west therefore entitling you to a beautiful sunset every evening. Don't forget your camera! The cottage is well equipped with cauldrons, pans dishes, fondue, coffee maker, microwave, patio furniture, outdoor fireplace with wood, barbecue, 70 foot dock with ladder, 2 refrigerators, 2 sofa. Sunny and shady areas according to your preference. You will only need personal belongings such as sheets, towels, dishcloths, food and drinks. We also provide 4 flotation vests for adults only. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. There are 1 room with a queen size bed and 2 bedromms with double size beds and a sofa bed if needed. A lot of improvement have been done this year: exterior siding, electricity, plumbing Because of its proximity to Gatineau/ Ottawa (25-30 minutes), several guests decide to travel to town. It is also easy for their teenagers with summer jobs to travel back to the cottage and join their family at the end of the day.
Located 5 minutes from the village of Wakefield, the Gatineau Park and the Gatineau River, and 20 minutes from Chelsea.
A deposit of $400 (canadian) is required for booking payable by bank transfert or check. The balance payable on your arrival, cash only. $1100/week in 2024.
The rate is very competitive since the rental and the maintenance of the cottage is entirely managed by the owners. THE PRICE IS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 8 persons. EXTRAS FEES OF 30$/DAY PER PERSON will be charged.
Good fishing: bass and muskie.
The rental is from sunday 4 pm to next sunday noon. FOR THE HIGH SEASON, JULY AND THE FIRST 2 WEEKS OF AUGUST, WE WILL ACCEPT LOCATION FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 WEEKS ONLY.

| Nathalie is a very friendly person and explains everything we needed to know about the Cottage. Very relaxing and quiet place to enjoy but close to stores when needed. Lake is quiet a peaceful. Beautiful fire place comes in handy during those cooler nights.

| Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le chalet était très propre et très bien équipé. BBQ, foyer extérieur, directement sur le lac. Kayac et chaloupe à notre disposition. Baignade très agréable au bout du quai. Le chalet est très bien protégé des températures trop chaudes car il est sous des arbres qui fournissent beaucoup d'ombre, superbes couchers de soleil. Les propriétaires sont tout près en cas de besoin et vraiment très discrets. Je n'hésite pas à vous recommander un séjour dans ce chalet. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

| Chalet bien situé, proche de la ville et des lieux touristiques. La proximité d'une épicerie est un atout. Beau grand chalet très invitant et fonctionnel. Propriétaires accueillants, disponibles, serviables ont répondu à nos demandes. Lac poissonneux où la pêche à été bonne.

| Excellent chalet de base équipé a 100% intérieur et extérieur. Proprios discrets, des bons vivants. Le lac, quoique pas sabloneux de la rive pour la nage est assez grand avec des profondeurs allant jusqu'a 75 pieds. L'eau est limpide et les bords sont protégés par une végétation. Bravo. La pêche est vraiment le fun surtout pour l'achigan de toute grosseur...notre record est de 3.5 lbs. Ns avons apprécié la proximité de l'épicerie a 1 KM, le Lac Philippe a 10 minutes, le village pitoresque de Wakefield avec leurs boutiques et les jameurs ainsi que Ste-Cécile de Masham. Quel beau petit village! Merci a Nathalie et Mario, nous sommes heureux d'avoir fait connaissance. A l'an prochain si possible.
