Beautiful 100+ year old farmhouse situated on 5 acres with historic 200-year-old barns. Located in St. Anicet, Quebec on Lake St. Francis on the St. Lawrence River. This property has beautiful views and waterfront access. Great for families. On a gorgeous quiet bay with sandy bottom. Perfect water temperature for swimming. The water is only 2 to 3 feet deep from the shore out 30 feet then gradually gets deeper. Fully furnished with 3 bedrooms, 2-1/ 2 baths. TV, Washer/Dryer and a fantastic large front porch/sun room.
Home has a big living room with fire place, dining room and full-sized kitchen. Air Conditioned.

| Ma famille et moi avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour à ce chalet, tellement que nous avons déjà réservé pour l'an prochain. Les propriétaires sont très gentils, souriants et bienveillants. La maison est vraiment grande et dispose de tous les éléments essentiels pour un séjour agréable. Le lac est immense et parfait pour les activités nautiques ( paddle, kayaks disponibles) et la pêche. L'eau est belle et peu profonde près du rivage, donc idéale avec de jeunes enfants. Bref, je recommande.

| If you need a place to unwind and relax, this is it! The Quenville farmhouse is located just far enough away from the airport in the countryside. It has ever you need - including deep, restful sleep. There's a market nearby, a couple of good restaurants (although cooking at the farmhouse is easy), cultural sites (Site Droulers is a must see!), and easy access to swimming, kayaking, and beautiful sunsets. Darlene and Jon are attentive but unobtrusive hosts. This was one of the BEST vacation rentals I've ever stayed at. There's a reason why guests return every year.

| Beautiful farmhouse on the St. Lawrence River, with river views from the front of the house and farm land views from the back. Perfect space for family gatherings, evening fires outside, and games. We had a fantastic family vacation! Seven of us (including one guest over 90 years old) stayed comfortably. Access to the river, nice roads for walking/hiking, and easy driving to explore NY and Vermont. Kitchen has everything needed for family meals, BBQ outside. Bathrooms, bedrooms, and all furnishings were clean and comfortable; washer/dryer available. Wi-Fi available and 1 TV, but we had much more fun with outdoor activities and exploring the region. Located approx. 1 hour west of Montreal. Great hosts too! Very responsive and knowledgeable about the area. We look forward to a return.
