BEST Cottage Vacation EVER: It takes a beautiful rustic wooden cottage with a lovely stone fireplace and comfy beds, then adds in a beautiful forest setting and view of the lake, paddleboat, 2 kayaks, and campfire pit, and Voila! Four season cottage: La rose des vents is a 4 season chalet located on a quite bay of Lake Sinclair, waterfront on a 1 acre of wooded and isolated site - little paradise on earth in a calm and seductive nature. At 1 hour from Ottawa/ Gatineau, 30 minutes from Wakefield, this area is perfect for sports and recreation enthusiasts. This charming chalet is a 3000 square feet cottage built of solid pine beams: 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped with stainless steel kitchen including dishwasher and a majestic wood fireplace. At the exterior of the chalet, you will find 2 spacious balconies/terraces facing the lake and equipped with a BBQ. There is also a firepit by the lake and a 25 foot dock perfect for the use of either 2 kayaks or pedal boat included with the rental. Please note that the edge of the water by the dock is not ideal for bathing directly due to muddy bottom. You can swim in the lake and the water is very clear but it is suggested to use one of the watercraft provided so you can swim in deeper water for a more enjoyable swim. Please feel free to bring floaters to enjoy the fresh water from the dock. At a short distance from our dock you can see l'Ile des Moutons where you will find a public beach and picnic area. L'Ile des moutons is accessible by kayak or pedal boat.
Only 15 minutes from the general store.

| Of all the cottages we've rented in the past, this one has turned out to be our favourite. It's well-maintained, offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, and is kept very clean. The sheets smelled great up until the very last day! I also liked that it displayed some very nice artwork throughout. The expectations from the owners were straightforward, and everything was exactly as was represented online. The kitchen is well equipped, but you need to bring your own aluminum foil, Saran Wrap and spices. We had access to two kayaks and a paddle boat, which we enjoyed the use of to explore the lake. It's a very calm and peaceful setting as well, very conducive to getting a lot of rest. For indoor entertainment there was ping pong and a pool table, along with various puzzles, movies, and two large screen TVs. The Wi-Fi was optimal for the games we brought. We would definitely recommend this cottage to future renters! Thank you, Serge and Odile, for such a wonderful cottage experience :)

| Magnifique séjour dans un coin absolument magnifique.
Odile et Serge sont des supers hotes. Ils étaient à l'écoute et disponible pour toute questions. Le chalet était magnifique, propre, spacieux à plus savoir quoi en faire. l'espace exterieur est tout aussi impressionnant!! On est coupé du monde et cela a fait tellement de bien. Le voisinage est tellement calme qu'on se croirait seul au monde sur une ile privée.
Merci pour l'acceuil et le séjour. Place au suivant, vous nous en direz des nouvelles!

| Superbe chalet pour de belles vacances en famille. Nous avons vraiment aimé notre séjour, les lits sont confortables et le chalet est très propre. La finition du chalet est en bois ce qui lui donne vraiment un cachet rustique et reposant. Sa grande pièce ouverte (salon-salle à dîner et cuisine) offre une vue splendide sur le lac. Le foyer était très apprécié pour la saison d'hiver. Nous avons pleinement profité de la table de ping pong, de belles randonnées à l'estérieur et des soirées de films ou jeux en famille. Merci à nos hôtes. Nous en garderons de très beaux souvenirs.

| Wow ! Ce chalet est un endroit merveilleux. Nous étions 4 filles et c'était durant le mois de février que nous y étions ! Nous louons un chalet chaque année depuis 6 ans et c'était le meilleur jusqu'à présent. Les lits sont extra confortables, la vue sur le lac est superbe et c'est très bien équipé (vaisselle, etc.) Et c'est très tranquille l'hiver ! Les propriétaires sont très gentils et répondent en peu de temps aux courriels et appels.

| We stayed in this cottage from Aug 31 to Sept 4.
The owners Serge & Odile - they are very nice people, so quick to respond to questions. The barbq ran out of propane on our first day and Odile called us right away and let us know she is coming. She also asked if there is anything else we need and brought us aluminum foil. So sweet!
The cottage - excellent, beautiful cottage, inside and outside. The newly done stairway at the back of the cottage is so nice, perfect for group pictures. Everything inside is classy.. kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is my favorite part with a huge L-type island. Water is purified and safe to drink. The basement is so cozy with billiards and table tennis and very spacious with the accessible laundry. There are towels and linens you can use. The living room is so relaxing with recliner sofa, loveseat and chair. The dining table is huge and can accommodate 10 people. The main floor is open concept and has lots of windows and glass walls.
The outside - a huge balcony with tables and chairs and lounge chairs for relaxing, barbq, firepit, 2 kayaks and pedal boat. There is an island with a beach, 15min away by kayak where water is so clear and the kids really enjoyed. We were able to eat fresh catch every day.
Our overall experience is super excellent.. we will definitely recommend to anyone and we will be back.
