Set in a wooded area on the shores of Lac Etchemin, Les Lucarnes du Versant is a haven of peace in the heart of nature. A large deck overlooking the forest extends along two sides of the building. And since it's partially covered, guests can enjoy nature and relax outdoors whatever the weather. An all-season, six-person spa is perfect for relaxing after a day of water sports or outdoor winter activities.
In summer, cycling and hiking trails are available, and with waterfront access, guests can swim right at the property. There is a pebble beach and the bottom drops off gradually (don't forget a pair of old shoes for playing in the water!). A dock has been installed to enhance swimming, but is not intended for boats. Two kayaks and a canoe are available for excursions around the lake or to do some fishing. Species found in Lac Etchemin include white sucker, lake chub and grey trout.
In winter, guests can toboggan right on the property or snowshoe on nearby trails. Downhill and cross-country skiing is available at Mont Orignal, about ten minutes away by car. A local snowmobile trail intersects Highway 55 within a few kilometres. In short, there's something for everyone! Indoors, warm up to a wood fire in the living room with its cathedral ceiling. From the mezzanine, large windows offer a spectacular view of snow-covered trees and the many birds found in the region.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES
This three-storey home has plenty of room to accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably. The open-concept dining room is a pleasant spot to share a meal with family or friends. Adjoining the dining room is a fully equipped kitchen. There are 4 closed bedrooms and an open mezzanine with a double bed. Upstairs is a full bathroom with shower and bath. A second bathroom with shower and laundry facilities is downstairs.
Main floor: 1 closed master bedroom with double bed / 1 closed bedroom with queen-size bed
Upstairs: 2 closed bedrooms with queen-size bed / Mezzanine (open area ) with 1 double bed / 1 full bathroom with bath and shower
Downstairs: 1 full bathroom with shower and washer-dryer
Most of the downstairs area is unfinished. Only the bathroom, passageway and storage area are finished.
