The ideal chalet to enjoy all seasons: play outside in nature and then enjoy the comfort of different spaces suitable for family stays, with friends as well as for entrepreneurs in teleworking mode's stay.
In wintertime, alpine skiing, snowboarding, touring ski and snowshoeing are just a few meters away since the chalet located in the heart of the mountain (Ski In/ Ski Out) near the ascent of the slope of the Mille feet. In summertime, direct access on foot to the mountain with several hiking trails, including the National Trail, and near lakes and rivers for swimming and fishing. The mountain bike with ski lift is also available several months during the year. In autumntime, a flamboyant spectacle is offered to you with the mountain and colorful panorama, beautiful for hiking season.
HOME ACCESS
On the ground floor, you will first find a spacious entrance, with walls covered with barn wood, equipped with many hooks and storage spaces. Then, a large common air including the kitchen, living room and dining room with a wall almost entirely fenestrated offers you a sensational view of the surrounding nature and ski slopes. The kitchen has a very large island and is fully equipped with utensils, cooking equipment, and appliances (refrigerator two doors, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and heater, regular coffee machine, etc.).
Side dining room, a solid wood table that can accommodate a large family. In the living room, a sectional sofa facing the gas fireplace decorated with a beautiful natural stone coat. Television, sound system and board games are available for your entertainment. A bedroom with queen bed and bathroom with shower is also on the ground floor as well as the buandrie space (front washer/ dryer).
On the first floor of the chalet, in mezzanine, a bedroom offers a queen bed, a second bedroom has a bunk bed (2 x double) and a bathroom with bath-shower and heated ceramic floor. You will also find a living room with sectional queen-size sofa bed in addition to a practical desk and TV with DVD player. This floor is also occupied by a telework area with an office with two screens and an ergonomic chair.
Outside the chalet, a large terrace with motorized awning and a courtyard with mountain view give you access to a barbecue (gas canister included), a set of garden furniture and fireplace (wood not provided).
TOURISM
Our cottage is located in the territory of Matawinie in Lanaudière.
Directly on the mountain, a network of hiking trails is accessible and joins the Canadian National Trail (section Contreforts), with completely free access.
Also, nearby: Regional Park of the Ouareau forest, Falls at Bull, Swaggin Falls, Zec Lavigne, Pourvoiries Coin Lavigne and Lac Croche, Mont Tremblant National Park (area L'Assomption), Spa Auberge aux Quatre Matins.
A little further on: Rawdon Golf Club, Saint-Jean-de-Matha tube slides, Parc des Chutes-Monte-à-Peine (various entrances), Spa La Source (Rawdon).
All the activities named above are located directly on the mountain at the nearby Val Saint-Côme station (30 mins).
