| Wonderful getaway for families and couples. We were lucky enough to have both experiences in such a unique place and we could not have been happier with our stay! We left feeling well-rested and completely at peace; the surrounding environment is beautiful and rich in nature, and the inside of the home is cozy and welcoming. After a long and chilly drive, we were so pleased to finally arrive and relax by the warmth of the foyer, and to cook a nice meal in the gorgeous kitchen! Always recommended to our friends. Amazing service from Frédéric and Nadine, we look forward to visiting again soon!

Unique and cozy home, private lake, all the wood you need for both indoor and outdoor fire place, superbly maintained property and Nadine is quick to respond should you need anything.

| We had the most excellent stay at the Straw Bale House. We arrived to find the place clean, well-stocked, and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen inviting, and the property called to be enjoyed. While the week itself was a little cool and rainy, the cottage perfectly lended itself to cozying up. Is there anything more relaxing than sitting on a covered porch in the rain with a coffee and a good book? I can't think of a better way to spend the last week of the summer, and hope to return again next year!

| A beautiful and unique cottage with unimagined privacy. Very hot and humid my week but the cottage felt remarkably cool compared to outside. With the numerous bedrooms, 2 baths and the huge kitchen you won't be tripping over each other if you have a large group. Very clean, well built and with everything you will need. Owner was extremely helpful and a joy to deal with. I can easily recommend, and if you are intrigued or excited by the listing, you will be elated when you get there.
