This property is a charming family home located right at the edge of Brome Lake with direct water access & dock. It is a charming, well decorated, cozy and comfortable house of windows with spectacular views of the lake even from your bed. It is ideal for family vacations, special celebrations, friendly get togethers and romantic getaways. The house is fully equipped and wifi throughout. Its very well located 5 minutes by car to the town of Knowlton, 15 minutes to Bromont (shopping, skiing, waterslides & biking trails), 20 minutes to Sutton(skiink, bike trails, hiking), 30 minutes to Owl's Head (skiing etc..). The exterior ground floor has a wrap around deck with stunning views, sunny & shade, BBQ (propane provided) for year round grilling, outdoor table & chairs for dining. At grass level there's long dock for water sports(from Mai-Mid October). It's great for swimming as there are no weeds in the water unlike other areas around the lake. Entry is easy with a ladder attached to the dock and the water depth progresses very slowly unlike Laurentian lakes where it is often drastic. On the interior, the ground floor is open concept dining/ living with 3 huge triple patio doors and other large windows, all with stunning water views that make you feel like your on a house boat. In the living room area a Vermont Castings fireplace will warm you up on chilly days and create a romantic atmosphere for cozy intimate moments (all wood, kindling, newspaper provided & wood is stored on the front deck for easy winter access)reading an interesting book from the fully stocked library.
The dining area has a huge table which accommodates 10 and was handcrafted by Quebec artisans in Bromont. It's a great space for relaxing and entertaining with family & friends.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher & microwave, sugar, flour, tea, spices, tin foil, saran wrap & cleaning products. An attractive nook set in a bay window can be handy for morning breakfasts especially with children. A side door leads off the kitchen for easy access to the BBQ and deck.
The ground floor also has a Jack'n Jill half bath connected to a small bedroom ideal for visiting relatives, grandparents who cannot handle stairs and sleepover babysitters or live-in nannies.
A central pine staircase leads up to the second floor with an open hallway leading to 4 bedrooms and a hallway bathroom:
1 large master en suite (shower) with seating area, armoire, 2 huge Victorian windows and double patio doors with private deck deck. Relax in your cosy queen sized bed with exceptional views of the lake. The armoire is hand crafted by La Belle Vieillerie in Bromont.
There are 3 other bedroom, 2 of which have great water views except the third which looks towards the access to the house.
There is a good sized 3 piece hallway bathroom (bath) that services those 3 bedrooms. All wrought iron beds are antiques from the Townships. All linens are provided. Bring your personal soaps, shampoos & conditioners. There's one blow dryer in the master bathroom.
The central pine staircase descends into the lower level with 5 big windows and water views. It's an ideal space for relaxing on comfy couches, watching TV, Netflix, playing video games or having a brisk game of ping pong.
There's an extra fridge, washer/dryer & central vacuum along with accessible storage for skis, snowboards & boots.

| Depuis plusieurs années, nous avons comme tradition familiale de louer une maison avec nos 4 enfants et leurs conjoints. Nous sommes unanimes que cette maison sera probablement notre endroit pour les prochaines années. Nous nous y sommes sentis comme chez nous. La cuisine est plus que bien équipée, la literie est de qualité et la vue est splendide. La maison est décorée avec goût et est exactement comme sur les photos. Valérie est une hôte incroyable et nous permet d'arriver tôt et ne nous presse pas de quitter; ce qui maximise la qualité de notre séjour. La maison est spacieuse et chacun y trouve un endroit pour s'y retrouver en groupe ou encore se retirer pour un moment. Merci

| With my husband's extended family, I have been fortunate to spend time in this stunningly beautiful home three times over the past three years. Wow factor is off the scale for a peaceful setting, beautifully decorated rooms, and amazing views. The booking process is personalized and easy and value for money is exactly as it should be for a dwelling that can receive a large family with its five bedrooms and large dining area and family room. Of course, everything is in pristine condition and the kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparations even including spices. We cannot wait to return! Thank you so much, Valerie.
