| Trout Lake is the perfect getaway from the hectic city life! My husband and I (and our dog Pebbles) enjoyed our four day retreat spent in this secluded and yet accesible location. Some of our favourite moments were listening to the the family of four loons that live on the lake, walking the nature trails surrounding the lake, and just experiencing the tranquility and peacefulness of this enchanting refuge. Fly fishing was also enjoyed by my husband while I was busy taking multiple pictures of the spectacular sunsets and scenery. Our wonderful hosts Karen and Michael were very kind and accomodating ! We're looking forward to the next time , possibly in the Spring when the trout are biting! Maria

| My family and I recently returned from a week at Trout lake. The cottage is absolutely magical! It has been in Michael's family for generations and is a truly "authentic log cabin" in a very secluded setting on a gorgeous private lake. We loved watching the hummingbirds ( at least 4 verities) from the front porch and listening to the loons. It is a perfect spot to visit with children as you can swim, hunt for frogs, go berry picking ,canoe and paddle on the lake! Also, having a fire pit to roast marshmallows and watch the stars was fantastic. Karen and Michael are very kind hosts who went out of their way to make our stay welcoming. We hope to make our visit to trout lake an annual tradition. :)
