Located in the countryside of the village of L'Avenir, this vacation rental has everything you need for a relaxing stay by the river. During your stay, you can slow down and live at the pace of the St. Francis River, which runs along the property. Perched on a hill, the house offers breathtaking views of the river valley. However, access to the waterfront from the property is difficult, as the land borders a very steep and rocky slope.
If you're a water sports enthusiast, you'll have access to 5 kayaks that can easily be transported (thanks to a wheeled kayak cart) to the municipal launch, located less than 500 m from the chalet. In the summer, the river is generally low enough to walk along its shoreline, go for a swim, and enjoy the small sandy beach that awaits you! When the water level is high, the current can become very strong. Always wear your life jackets.
To enhance your stay and ensure optimal relaxation, a private 4 seasons hot tub is also at your disposal. In the evening, do not hesitate to light a fire outside. Firewood is naturally provided for your stay. Days ending around a good fire, with friends or family, are always memorable!

For an enchanting stay, bathed in natural light and sunshine, the cottage Au Bec du Canard is the perfect place. With its large windows overlooking the river, you will have a beautiful light in the house, throughout the day. The house has 3 bedrooms as well as 2 full bathrooms with a shower each, and a bathtub in one of them.
Ground floor: Living room, kitchen and dining room / 1 bedroom with 1 Queen bed and 1 Double bed
Downstairs: 2nd living room with futons and 1 Queen bed/ 2 bedrooms with 1 Queen bed
