Au Canard Branchu du Lac Brome is a charming swiss cottage offering a private access to Lake Brome. The access to the lake is on the other side of the road, facing the cottage. Just take the stairs down to the lake and you will have both of your feet in the water in no time. A relaxation area has been added directly on the shores of the lake, allowing you to enjoy summer at its best. No matter the season, you will be pleasantly surprised, each morning and each evening during sunrise and sunset. For your comfort and an optimal relaxation, a private 4-season hot tub is at your disposal. The hot tub is installed behind the cottage and offers a view on the surrounding woods, it has a roof, which makes it possible to use the hot tub even on rainy days.
You will find 2 simple kayaks, 1 double kayak, 2 paddles board, 1 cyclopal (pedalboat) at your disposal to allow you to go on and discover the lake by yourself or with your friends and family. Perhaps, you will meet the famous ' Canard Branchu ' while paddling. Quilliams' natural reserve is a hidden paradise near the cottage. On the lake, fishing is possible in summer as well as in winter when the ice is thick enough. It isn't possible to use to dock to attach your motor boat to it.
If you would like to discover the surroundings during your stay, the Brome-Missisquoi touristic region will surely entertain you. Whether it's for outdoors activities or for cultural experiences, choices are endless: vineyards, bike trails, beaches, water slides, mountain biking, golf courses, museums and even more. During your stay, consider visiting Dunham, Frelighsburg and Knowlton, all picturesque towns that kept their english charms. The village, only 5 minutes away from the cottage, has several little shops, restaurants and is know for their antique shops. The region is a vast playground for cyclists wether it's for road biking or gravel biking, with the beautiful country views.
During winter, the cottage is perfect for a ski weekend, since it is only 15 minutes away from the Bromont ski slopes. Orford and Sutton Mountains are also less than 30 minutes away. Owl's head is at 40 minutes from the cottage. Furthermore, you will find several kilometers-long trails, directly accessible at the back of the property, for walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Douglass' municipal beach is only 3 minutes away from the cottage and offers during winter ice skating, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and camp fires.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES
The cottage is known for its abundant fenestration and its relaxing views on Lake Brome. Inside, you will find everything you need for a comfortable and warming stay. The living room, next to the kitchen, will welcome you with its large wood fireplace. Winter stays will surely be very cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped, you will only have to bring your food. Upstairs, are the 3 bedrooms. A bathroom and a half-bathroom complete the house. During winter, you may bring your ski or snowshoeing equipement and store it in the basement during your stay.

Upstairs: 3 closed bedrooms / 1 bathroom
Downstairs: 1 room serving as a 4th closed bedroom with a Queen size pull out couch / Storage place for your winter equipment / laudry room
