Newly constructed (autumn 2018) spacious cottage (over 2,700 ft2) can sleep 12 very comfortably. Perfect for holidays with family or friends. Cozy, three-Story open concept cottage with 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms with heated floors, 2 living rooms with TV and cable and a large game room with a ping pong table. Tranquility and comfort. The cottage is perfectly located in the new development of the alpine village of Mont-Édouard (www.montedouard.com) in L'Anse-St-Jean, to enjoy all winter sports. Directly on the slopes, a few steps from the ski-lifts, the main chalet, tube sliding, the outdoor rink, cross-country ski and snowshoeing trails and the Nordic spa Édouard-les-Bains to warm you up after a beautiful day of skiing. You will also have access to snowmobile trails just steps away and ice fishing and dog sledding activities just minutes away by car. In the summer, you can enjoy walking, hiking and mountain bike trails, many lakes and rivers for fishing, kayaking and sailing or cruises to discover the beautiful Saguenay Fjord. You can also enjoy a swimming pool a few steps from the cottage to cool off during hot summer days. The chalet is fully equipped for your comfort. On the upper level you will find 2 bedrooms with a double / single bunk bed, a bedroom with a queen bed with a view of the slopes and a large bathroom with bath and shower.
On the main level, you will find the living room with a gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and dining room, all open concept with large panoramic windows overlooking the ski slopes. The main floor also includes a bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom with shower.
The fully finished basement with heated floor includes a bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom with shower and laundry room, a living room and a large game room with a ping pong table. | Un magnifique chalet super bien équipé, propre, moderne, idéal pour les sportifs amoureux de la nature en terme de localisation. Nous l'avons loué pour nos vacances d'été. Au pied des pistes, nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir faire des randos et du trail running tous les jours sur le mont edouard, avant les activités dans le fjord - à seulement 15 min de voiture. Nous avons aussi profité d'un petit spa bien mérité à 5 min à pied après les journées de via ferrata, kayak ou randos dans la région. Le bonheur. Nous avons même vu un faucon pèlerin de très près en prenant l'apéritif dans le jardin . Judith est une hôte très réactive et informative. Nous reviendrons avec des vélos de montagne ou nos skis !

| Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Mont Édouard. La maison est superbe, très bien placée et très confortable. Nous étions une famille de 4, les grand-parents sont venus nous visiter, et il y avait encore de la place! L'espace pour faire un feu dehors nous a permis d'admirer les étoiles filantes, nous avons dû en voir une vingtaine. Sublime. Nous avons aussi beaucoup profitez de la proximité du village de l'anse St-Jean. La plage est très agréable, les enfants adoraient aller se baigner là-bas. Le restaurant, la crèmerie et le café sont aussi super. Il y a aussi une chocolaterie absolument sublime. Nous avons aussi été en zodiak voir les baleines et avons eu un spectacle de baleines à bosse à couper le souffle. Il y a aussi une piscine surveillée par un sauveteur à proximité, vraiment très bien. Nous avons été là deux semaines et personne ne voulait partir rendu au dernier jour. L'hiver ça doit aussi être génial, comme la maison est directement sur les piste. Et même l'automne, car il existe plusieurs sentiers de randonnées (dont celui de la statue, un incontournable) et piste cyclable. La propriétaire était très organisée et aidante, nous avons beaucoup apprécié son aide. Nous y retournerons j'en suis certaine.
