Located in St-René-de-Matane, in a unique decor, Le Chalet Le Valmont overlooks The Matane River. Known for his salmon fishing, the river is accessible by a direct access, just steps from the cottage. Surrounded by the moutains, the terrain is very quiet and intimate and located in a micro-climate. It is the perfect place to relax and hang out with friends and family.
The brand new, loghome Scandinavian type has been finished in July and allows up to 4 adults. It provide two bedrooms with Queen beds, a double sofa bed and two bathrooms, one offers shower. Bedding and bath towels are provided. A modern kitchen, fully equipped, offers microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, a toaster and a Keurig machine. The tv with cable, dvd and wifi are offered in the living room, as well as a wood stove for the colder evenings.
Outside, a BBQ is available as well as a spacious picnic table for outdoors meals. A fire area allows you to relax under the stars. A small terrace is also available to take coffee at the edge of the river.
Located between Matane and Amqui, many tourist attractions are nearby: The Matane Wildlife Reserve, a golf course, a ski station and Doris Gardens are less than 15 minutes away. The Métis Gardens, Mont-Albert Park and Chic-Chocs are also easily accessible.
