Welcome to the Tsuga!

Charming cottage located all the way at the top of the Pruneau Valley in Grandes-Piles, Mauricie. A small mountainside town anchored on the shores of the majestic St-Maurice River, Grandes-Piles is a mecca for all water sports (including sailing!) and a magnificent spot for many winter sports where the river turns into a vast playfield for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobile and even snowkiting! The cottage is ideal for all sports fanatics but also for anyone who wants to appreciate the beautiful surroundings and relax. A Jacuzzi and a fireplace are at your disposal for you to relax after your entertaining days.

The cottage was designed to welcome up to 6 persons (2 queen-size beds on the mezzanine and 1 sofa bed in the living room of the 1st floor). It has a wide-open area and its warmth will make you enjoy great moments with your family and your friends. It sits on top of a rock cliff, in a picturesque location, and you will definitely find a 4x4 or an AWD vehicle useful to get there in the winter time! That is all part of the charm! A 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk will take you to the St-Maurice River, the Grandes-Piles marina and the municipal park that features a boat ramp. Located under 1½ hours from Quebec City and under 2 hours from Montreal City.

5 minutes north of the town of Grandes-Piles, you will be able to discover a superb portion of the national hiking trail, the "Père Jacques-Buteux" segment.
