30 minutes from downtown Baie St-Paul, its lively atmosphere, good restaurants and art galleries, hiking, golf, sea and river kayaking, and more !
From Hotel Le Germain, book a nice little round-trip train ride along the river to the Massif de la Petite-Rivière-St-François.
45 minutes from the ski slopes of Le Massif, 25 minutes from the alpine and cross-country ski resort of Mont Grand-Fonds and less than 20 minutes from the Les Sources Joyeuses family outdoor center (skating, sliding and cross-country skiing). Put on snowshoes from the house and walk through the surrounding woods and meadows to admire the local nature and the river.
Less than 10 minutes from the Casino de Charlevoix, the Manoir Richelieu, the Charlevoix Astroblème, the beach of St-Irénée and the Domaine Forget music concerts.
10 minutes from La Malbaie, which also has a few good restaurants and offers superb sea walks in the bay at low tide.
In the beautiful Charlevoix region, fishing enthusiasts will be delighted, and you can also take a whale watching excursion on the majestic St. Lawrence River.
Visit the national parks of Grands Jardins (20 min) and Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie (45 min).
