Come and discover our little corner of paradise! Our cottage, "Toolboy" is located on the shores of majestic Roddick Lake (Grand Lac Rond). Relaxing, comfortable and luxurious, how about unwinding around a crackling fire while eating marshmallows, sipping a good hot chocolate or a glass of wine?
New construction in 2021, this chalet can accommodate 6 people. The walk-out style basement faces the lake and there is a large balcony and a pergola with a mosquito net. There are 3 bedrooms,( 1 king bed and 2 queen bed ) 2 large full bathrooms and a washer and dryer. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, kettle, utensils and pots and pans. The water comes from a well, so it's safe to drink. For warmer days, you can cool off indoors in the air conditioning.
If you are athletic, you will enjoy it as much in winter as in summer. In winter, choose between a hike, skating on the lake, a cross-country ski hike or snowshoeing. There are several VTT or snowmobile trails nearby.
In summer, you can go kayaking on this beautiful lake. There are two kayaks at your disposal. In addition, if you are fond of fishing, you can fish for walleye, lake trout, bass and pike. Roddick Lake offers you the opportunity to use your marine motorized vehicles to practice your favorite water sports. Known for its crystal clear water, it is an ideal place to swim, as the water is shallow and the bottom is sandy.
A 50% deposit (non-refundable) will be requested upon booking and the other half must be paid 2 weeks before the stay. A security deposit of $ 500 is required to ensure the good condition of the premises. This will be returned to you after the cottage inspection.
