While the cottage is also perfect for a group of adults seeking peace and quiet in nature, we designed it with special attention to detail for small families with children.
A spacious playroom filled with toys for both boys and girls, a Pac-Man arcade machine, a kids' movie corner, and even a small “haunted house” on the property are just a few of the features that will delight younger guests.
FULL OF HISTORY
You will be staying in one of the four original rural schoolhouses of Saint-Étienne-de-Bolton!
During the renovation, great care was taken to preserve the rich architecture of the era, showcasing beautiful woodwork and charming signs of wear that we chose to keep — a true feast for the eyes.
You will also be charmed by the unique and elegant furniture throughout the cottage. Many antique pieces have been restored by a talented local artisan, blending rustic heritage with creative craftsmanship.
SURPRISINGLY CLOSE
Not only can guests from Montreal reach Saint-Étienne in just about an hour, but many tourist attractions are located just a short drive away.
The picturesque village of Eastman is only 5 minutes away, while Bromont, the renowned Mont Orford, Sutton, and Owl's Head are all within a maximum of 25 minutes.
If you simply wish to relax in nature without using your car, the village of Saint-Étienne offers access to the Missisquoi Nord Valley (hiking, kayaking, cycling) as well as the Estrie trail network for hiking.

| Ma famille et moi avons eu le plaisir de séjourner pendant 10 jours dans l'ancienne école de rang, et ce fut une expérience mémorable. Notre groupe multi-générationnel, comprenant des enfants en bas âge, des adultes et des grands-parents, y a trouvé un véritable havre de paix. Le terrain est vaste, et le chalet, avec son charme rustique, offre amplement d'espace pour que chacun puisse y séjourner confortablement.
La cuisine est parfaitement équipée, avec des appareils électroménagers récents, ce qui nous a permis de préparer nos repas comme à la maison. Mes deux enfants, âgés de 2 et 6 ans, ont particulièrement apprécié la salle de jeux, remplie de jouets adaptés à leur âge, ainsi que le trampoline où ils se sont beaucoup amusés.
La région regorge d'attractions touristiques, et nous avons adoré visiter le charmant village de Eastman, explorer les fromageries locales, et passer une journée des plus relaxantes au Spa Bolton, le tout à moins de 20 minutes en voiture.
Je recommande vivement ce chalet pour un séjour inoubliable en famille!

| Nous avons passé un très bon week-end dans cette maison très spacieuse. Nous avions tous à la portée de main pour passer un agréable séjour et nous avons particulièrement apprécié les petites attentions de notre hôte qui font la différence (épices, huiles, belle vaisselle, multitude de couvertures pour se réchauffer près du feu, bois d'allumage et corde de bois, shampoing et gel douche à notre disposition, courriels de suivi pendant notre séjour).
