Only 1 hour away from Montreal, this cottage is on its own little island, surrounded by water and nature, with no immediate neighbors ? it?s the ideal place for groups looking for an escapade in nature, far from city life.

A truly peaceful oasis, you will only be bothered by the singing of birds, ducks swimming across the lake, loonies in the evening, and the wind blowing in the trees surrounding your little island :)

This is a waterfront cottage that comes equipped with a boat, a kayak, and a pedalo. You will have direct access to the beautiful Lake Beaudry. Taking a boat trip along the lake, you will get to see incredible views, and might even come across beavers in the water (you will certainly see their nests!).

To reach the cottage, you will take a small road that goes from the main road to the island. You will be around 10 minutes away from the small Saint-Calixte village, where you will find a supermarket, convenience store, pharmacy, ice cream shop, etc.

There is space to park at least 4 cars comfortably.

There are three closed bedrooms, as well as a queen bed on the second floor mezzanine, which in all can take up to 12 people in total.

You will have access to a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, plates, utensils, pans, etc.) as well as two coffee machines (regular, and Nespresso capsules), as well as a toaster. You will also have access to an electric BBQ.

You will have a high-speed WiFi access (Starlink, 100+ mb/s) that can easily handle streaming, or even working from the cottage. A Chromecast as well as an Amazon Firestick are attached to the TV, allowing you to stream anything from your phone, or some of the pre-installed apps (Netflix, YouTube, etc.). You also have a dedicated office space set up on the mezzanine.

Note that there are waterlilies in the water right in front of the dock, and that the bottom of the water is muddy, so it is not ideal for swimming. If you want to swim in deep and clear water, you can use the provided boats to get further into the lake.

There are exterior cameras that cover the entrance, parking area, as well as arrival path (no cameras inside or in the backyard area). They can be checked to verify that rules are respected (guest limit, no pets, noise levels, etc).
