You can make your fondue with your family or friends :) Private dock and pedal boat available in summer! We have a floating dock nearly the middle of the lake where it's pleasant to swim.
There is an ice rink on the lake right in front of the chalet for skating! At the right of the chalet there is a beautiful natural slope for children to slide in winter (and adults too!)! Long hours of fun in sight right on the land!
Directly from the chalet you can go snowshoeing or cross-country skiing on the lake when it is frozen enough, several people around the lake are doing this and this creates passable trails. SNOWMOBILE enthusiasts: a local trail crosses the lake and joins other trails around.
Pets are welcome, please read the rules.

The region

A few minutes from the chalet is the Ouareau Forest Regional Park covering just over 150 km², a vast area for outdoor enthusiasts! The park has a mountain range incorporating a 120 km network of multifunctional trails (walking, cycling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing). Crossed by a magnificent river, the Ouareau Forest highlights the many wild lakes and a climbing wall recognized and managed by the Fédération québécoise de la montagne et de l'escalade. For a mountain hike with a view, look for Mont Ouareau. Also, some small unofficial trails can be taken from the chalet for a nice walk in the woods.
