This charming cottage located in the municipality of Clarendon/ Shawville in Outaouais is the perfect place to enjoy nature with a spectacular view of the lake.
Located in the Regional County Municipality of Pontiac (MRC Pontiac), Shawville is one of the most charming and dynamic place in the western Outaouais. You can find a wonderful bakery (Pontiac Home Bakery) and café (Café 349) and all the necessary services: grocery store, SAQ, pharmacy, hospital, etc.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms: one with 2 double beds, one with a queen bed and the last one has a bunk bed (single and double).
You can use our watercrafts (one canoe for 2, 1 pedal boat, two kid's kayaks and two paddle boards) to sail on the beautiful transparent water of Lac Vert.
*The beach has a soft sandy bottom. We therefore suggest that you use one of our watercrafts to go swimming off shore.
**The bathroom has a shower that you don't see on the pictures.
***You must bring your on bedding, towels, dish towels, dishcloth. The cottage does not have the space to accommodate appliances such as a washer and dryer.

Want to go for a hike? We recommand ''Luskville Falls Trail'' which is located about 40 minutes from the cottage in Gatineau Park, considered the best hike in the Pontiac. Rafting Horizon X Rafting and Kayaking or Momentum Rafting: About 20 min from the cottage. In the summer, you can use our watercrafts (one canoe for 2, two kid's kayaks and 2 paddle boards) to sail on the beautiful transparent water. | This cottage is one of the most beautiful cottages that we have stayed in.Everything was perfect.The view from the cottage is just amazing.Lot of board games and watercrafts so we did not feel bored even once.
Will surely return.

| Three generations of our family had a wonderful week of relaxation and fun at Chalet Emeraude. The cottage was clean, comfortable, welcoming and equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. It is nestled in a stand of mature trees that offered privacy and shade. We swam in the beautiful lake and our grandsons spent hours watching for turtles, frogs and fish. A loon family was in residence and their haunting call occasionally heard. We took full advantage of paddleboards, paddleboat, kayaks and canoe as we explored the shoreline. We would recommend it without hesitation.

| Chalet très paisible avec une belle vue sur le lac. Il y avait une bouteille de vin et des kcups sur la table de la cuisine ! Les enfants ont nagé et fait du paddle board ainsi que du pédalo. Avec eux, la balançoire a été un grand succès ! Très heureux.

| l'accès au lac est facile
le chalet est chaleureux et les lits confortables
l'air climatisé pas assez grosse pour le chalet
apprécié la bouteille de vin
le gazebo à l'extérieur pour manger très apprécié
dommage que le lac soit vaseux
la disponibilité des équipements sur place
la seule chose à faire c'est d'avoir une échelle au bout du quai étant donné le fond du lac n'est pas approprié pour la baignade

| Nous avons passé un très beau séjour relaxant au Chalet Émeraude! Le site est enchanteur et la baie du lac est paisible. Nous avons bien profité du feu de camp en soirée et des activités sur le lac en journée. Le chalet est très agréable avec ses belles fenêtres qui donnent sur le lac d'un côté et sur le sous bois de l'autre côté. Nous avons eu un peu de pluie alors nous avons bien apprécié le grand choix de jeux de société et de jouets pour mon jeune garçon. Les communications avec l'hôte ont été efficaces et rapides. Je recommande fortement!
