| Our arrival in Grosses Roches was greeted with a very cute but seemingly conservative little house overlooking the river. But once inside, to our surprise our impressions were transformed by its character, spotlessly tidy living spaces, VERY well-equipped kitchen, invitingly cosy bedroom, and paintings and windows that made deciding which to look out at, a difficult task. This is truly an Artist's house, as the host's artistry is profound and the furnishings and layout seem well-influenced by her thoughfulness and good taste.
That was all before discovering the beautifully sheltered back porch in comfortably cushioned chairs, overwhelmed by this once-in-a-lifetime private view of the St Lawrence, float ing by immediately beyond the long back meadow of lush green grass and vegetations, stretched out before us all the way down to the bushes seeming to bound the river itself, teeming with the many varieties of birds enjoying the same setting.
With such a back drop, sleep was comfortable and easy other than the anticipation of waking next morning to enjoy again all that the setting and accommodation had to offer for another day. It was certainly our favorite of many we stayed in during our first-ever tour of Quebec and Gaspesie.

| Ce petit chalet ancestrale rénover avec goût et amour d'un style apaisant. Très propre et conviviale. La propriétaire est une personne chaleureuse et disponible en tout temps. Les magnifiques coucher de soleil sont au rendez-vous et apprécié.Nous avons passé une semaine de relaxation incroyable dans ce petit havre de paix. Je vous le recommande fortement.

| Excellent séjour dans ce mignon petit chalet rénové avec goût et belles toiles ! Parfait pour deux. Tout y est pour notre commodité. La vue est superbe et tranquillité assurée. On recommande fortement !

| Joli petite maison à l'odeur d'antiquité. Propre et bien meublée avec tous les appareils électriques fonctionnels. Bien décorée et avec un charme extérieur certain.
La vue sur le fleuve est magnifique et nous y avons vu des couchers de soleil époustouflants presque tous les soirs pendant deux semaines. Cour arrière bien aménagée.
Située loin de la grand-route, c'est tranquille et il y a beaucoup de sites et d'activités entre Matane et Ste-Anne- des- Monts.
La propriétaire est très avenante et disponible.
Merveilleuses vacances! C'est à recommander. Ca vaut une récidive.

Endroit calme avec vue sur le fleuve , bien situé pour explorer la côte et les belles plages entre Matane et St Anne des Monts .
