Whether you come for a weekend getaway or a full summer or winter vacation away from the city, Aux Douces Folies has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Set on a country road right by Trois-Lacs, this recently renovated home will help you forget the daily grind as you get together with family or friends.
From the deck, look across the road to the lake, which offers many activities all year round. Right across from the cottage is a public access area where you can swim and fish. Get out your fishing gear and see if you can catch some walleye, pickerel or sunfish?the lake's most abundant species.
In winter, ATV and snowmobile trails are accessible near the cottage. Ice fishing is also very popular with locals. Within a few minutes' drive of the cottage, the golf club in Asbestos is available for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in winter. Strap on your skates as soon as the lake is thoroughly frozen or head over to the local skating rink.
When you return from a fun day of outdoor activities, relax in the private, all-season spa that takes the sting out of colder days and makes summer evenings even more magical. A barbecue and meal corner are set up on the covered deck to enjoy outdoor dining.
During your stay, you can verify with the owner to rent snowshoes or paddleboards.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES
Inside the cottage, all the rooms have been fully renovated and decorated in a contemporary style. The living room, which has high ceilings and plenty of natural lighting, shares a common area with the dining room and practical kitchen. With a central island complete with sink, there's lots of space for everyone to lend a hand creating memorable meals.
Aux Douces Folies has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, as well as a laundry room you pass on the way upstairs. Everything has been designed for maximum comfort!
Main floor: Open-concept living room, kitchen and dining room / Bedroom #1 with a Queen size bed / 1 bathroom with a shower / 1 laundry room
Upstairs: Bedroom #2 (open) : mezzanine-style bedroom with a Double size bed
Downstairs: Bedroom #3 with a Queen size bed / Bedroom #4 with a Double size bed / 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a shower
Garage room : Bedroom # 5 with a Double size bed (2 children size beds are also available)

*** The dock and watercrafts are available from Patriots' weekend to Thanksgiving weekend inclusively. ***
