An access to the lake is available at a 4-minute walk from the cottage. More than 30 km2 of Lake Aylmer is navigable, and fishing is excellent for a wide variety of species, including bass, muskellunge, pickerel and walleye. Summertime activities include water sports, cycling, hiking and golf. The municipality is home to a vélorail system (two rail-mounted bicycles connected by a platform), the Tour cycliste du lac Aylmer (a family-oriented cycling activity) and a series of outdoor concerts. About 4 kilometres from the property is Parc Bellerive, where you'll find a marina, free boat launch, hiking trail and restaurant. Winter activities in the region include snowshoeing, cross-country and downhill skiing, tube sliding on Mont Adstock, skating, and ice fishing. Snowmobile and ATV trails also pass near the property.
