This cottage, in St-Denis-de-Brompton, is located on the land of a functioning ranch. You will find, a little further in the backyard, a farmhouse with horses and miniature goats. Note that the owners must regularly come over and look after their animals and work on the farm. It is possible that you come across them during your stay.
This property is ideal for nature lovers, with its 5 km of trails in the forest. You will have access to over 50 acres of woodland at the back of the cottage. You can go hiking both summer and winter with snowshoes. A 10-minute walk will take you to a small private pond. Families will also be delighted to visit horses and goats; an extraordinary experience during a stay in a chalet! You will be able to observe and pet the animals from outside, but we are asking that you do not enter the farm's buildings.
After a day of activities, relax at the cottage, in the private 4 seasons hot tub, or in the swimming pool (Open from June 7th to September 1st) on beautiful summer days. The terrace at the rear of the chalet will allow you to have a little drink in the sun while waiting for a swim. At the end of the day, take the opportunity to make a fire outside to gather friends and family, while admiring the starry sky of the countryside.
Take note that the property is equiped with video surveillance for outside. The camera points toward the barn. It is possible to visit the interior of the barn only on demand, with a visit by the owners.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES
Entering the house, you will find on your left a very sunny relaxation room, ideal for reading. You will then have a few steps to access the main floor, where you will find the open kitchen and dining room. A patio door leads you outside to the terrace with access to the hot tub and pool. Two closed bedrooms and a bathroom with shower complete the main floor. The third bedroom is on a higher floor and includes a small loft for storage space and a half-bathroom. In the basement you will find a living room with a fireplace and a television, as well as the fourth bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub.
Entrance: Relaxation room.
Main floor (4-5 steps higher than the entrance): Kitchen, dining room / 2 closed bedrooms / 1 bathroom with shower.
Upstairs: 1 closed room with a half-bathroom.
Downstairs: Living room with fireplace and TV + 1 Sofa bed / 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom with bathtub and washer and dryer.
