A nature getaway awaits you at Domaine Batiscan, located in Saint-Adelphe in the beautiful Mauricie region. Set on a 200,000-square-foot property, this chalet can accommodate up to six guests. It features two private bedrooms: a master bedroom in the loft with two Queen beds separated by a partition for added privacy, and a main-floor bedroom with one Queen bed. Large windows fill the space with natural light while offering beautiful views of the Batiscan River and surrounding nature.
The chalet features a bright, open-concept living area. The property is bordered by the river and a stream that flows into the Batiscan River, creating a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. A private sauna and hot tub add an extra touch of relaxation. The outdoor fire pit can be enjoyed year-round and is perfect for evenings under the stars. Please note that firewood is not provided, so remember to bring your own if you would like to use the outdoor fire pit. A BBQ is also available year-round.
Please also note that the chalet's washer and dryer are not available to guests during their stay.
Just 150 metres away, a private trail leads to a private beach where guests can swim, fish, or enjoy motorized watercraft. A boat launch is also available in the nearby village.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the chalet is ideally located. A snowmobile trail runs directly in front of the property, while hiking, snowshoeing, and ATV trails are easily accessible nearby. The enchanting Forêt Perdue, known for its unique forest skating trail, is only a few kilometres away. In winter, ice fishing in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade is another must-try experience in the region.
For guests travelling with electric vehicles, charging stations are conveniently located less than 300 metres from the chalet.

In summer:
In Saint-Adelphe, take advantage of the municipal boat launch to explore the Batiscan River by kayak or canoe. To discover local flavours, stop by Bouffée d'air et Fourchettes, where you can find fresh vegetables, black garlic, and a variety of berry-based products. For a classic local bite, Casse-croûte Tifo l'eau is a great place to enjoy a poutine or burger.
Less than 30 minutes away, enjoy the municipal beach at Lac Croche in Sainte-Thècle, a great destination for families with its facilities and water games. Adventure seekers can experience the via ferrata and zip lines at Parc de la rivière Batiscan in Saint-Stanislas. In Grandes-Piles, Aire Nature Grandes-Piles offers watercraft rentals for exploring the peaceful waters of Lac Clair.
In fall:
When the fall colours arrive, head to the Saint-Adelphe lookout to admire the Batiscan Valley and its beautiful autumn scenery. For an indoor activity, Quilles et Frites offers a fun retro atmosphere for a casual outing.
Just a few minutes away, Saint-Tite comes alive every September with its famous Festival Western. Take some time to explore the local shops, enjoy a latte at Aux Cinq Sœurs, or visit Savonnerie Belle à croquer. For an outdoor adventure surrounded by fall colours, explore the trails at Parc de la rivière Batiscan. In the Murphy sector, the Le Lièvre trail offers beautiful views of the colourful forest along the river and waterfalls.
In winter:
Snowmobile enthusiasts will particularly appreciate the location. Saint-Adelphe provides access to the Trans-Québec network and Mauricie snowmobile trails, including trails 3 and 23, in addition to the trail that runs directly in front of the chalet. After a day outdoors, La Griffe d'Ours is a great place to enjoy a comforting meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
In Saint-Tite, stop by Microbrasserie À la Fût to discover its craft beers and western-inspired atmosphere. Parc de la rivière Batiscan also offers several ways to enjoy winter, including snowshoeing and geocaching in the Traverse sector. In Shawinigan, Parc de l'île Melville offers activities such as cross-country skiing and snow tubing.
In spring:
As warmer days return, take the opportunity to explore the heart of Saint-Adelphe, Parc municipal J.-M.-A.-Gouin, and the historic Saint-Adelphe church.
In Saint-Stanislas, Casse-croûte Chez Lulu marks the return of warmer weather along with the reopening of the region's traditional roadside snack bars. Around Sainte-Thècle and Saint-Tite, several family-run sugar shacks also offer the opportunity to experience maple season and enjoy a traditional meal complete with maple taffy on snow.
In Grandes-Piles, Village du Bûcheron offers a fascinating look into the history of Quebec's forestry workers and an important part of Mauricie's heritage.
With its river, forests, outdoor activities, local food discoveries, and charming villages, Domaine Batiscan is an excellent home base for exploring the Mauricie region in every season.
