Located directly on the shores of Lake Boissonneault, in St-Claude in the Eastern Townships, this cottage for rent will be greatly appreciated for stays as a couple or with some family members and friends. You will be able to enjoy the pleasures of the summer during your stay. Swimming is pleasant, with a lake bottom in rocks. Remember to bring your water shoes! The fishing is good there; the most common catches are bass, walleye, yellow perch, pike and bluegill. Winter fishing is practicable when ice permitting. You must bring your own equipment.
If you have a boat, a paying boat descent is available at the marina, which is at the local campground. During the stay, you can leave your boat moored at the cottage dock. You will also find at a 10-minute walk from the cottage, a park where children can go to play as well as trails and a small municipal beach. The park is on Hamel Road; less than one kilometer from the cottage.
You can end the day with a good meal on the BBQ or relax around a campfire on the shores of the lake listening to the soft waves and the crackling fire. A private 4-season hot tub is also at your disposal, to ensure you a most relaxing stay.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES
Entering the cottage, you will be welcomed in a beautiful open space, dotted with large windows overlooking the lake. This room includes the living room as well as the kitchen and the dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare all your meals on site. The dishwasher will also be greatly appreciated to allow you to fully relax during your stay. From the kitchen you will have access to the outside by the patio door overlooking the gallery with BBQ. The warm atmosphere of the chalet is fairly present thanks to the many wooden furnitures and wooden ceiling beams. The bathroom with washer and dryer is also on the ground floor.
A beautiful modern staircase, in wood and iron, leads you upstairs, where you will find a second living room, as well as the two closed bedrooms of the property. These rooms all offer views of the lake. A bathroom with a shower-bath completes the floor.
Ground floor: Kitchen, living room, open concept dining room / Washroom with washer and dryer.
Upstairs: Living room / 2 closed bedrooms / 1 bathroom with bath-shower.
