Accessible via a one-kilometre private road, the cottage enjoys an exceptionally private setting. Surrounded by mature trees and naturally sheltered from view, it offers a true sense of peace and seclusion. Enjoy the tranquility of nature while remaining only 15 minutes from the shops, restaurants, and services of Lac-Mégantic.
With its two comfortable bedrooms, bright living spaces, and BBQ-equipped deck, this cottage can accommodate up to 5 adults and is perfect for couples, families, or friends looking for relaxation or adventure.
In summer, enjoy our small family-friendly beach area, perfect for children, or explore the lake by canoe, pedal boat, paddleboard, or rowboat. Fishing enthusiasts will also appreciate the abundance of walleye and bass. In the evening, gather around a campfire and take in the spectacular star-filled skies of the Mégantic region. Sainte-Cécile-de-Whitton is part of the Mont-Mégantic International Dark Sky Reserve, offering breathtaking views of the Milky Way and countless constellations.
?In winter, experience the magic of snow-covered landscapes with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and nearby trails to explore. Snowmobile enthusiasts will be pleased to know that a snowmobile trail can be accessed directly from the road, just 500 metres from the cottage. For a quieter moment, relax by the indoor wood stove while enjoying views of the lake.
Just minutes away, hike to the Belvédère du Morne, visit the Maison du Granit, or explore Mont-Mégantic National Park, famous for its astronomical observatory. In every season, Lake Oasis is the perfect base from which to discover the region's treasures.
