Le Montagnard is a private cottage in the Laurentians, nestled in an enchanting and intimate setting on the south shore of Lake Wentworth. It's the perfect place to escape with family or friends, enjoy the fresh air, and relax. Numerous activities are available on-site and nearby: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, snowmobiling, hiking, cycling, etc. The Aerobic Corridor and several trails pass nearby. You can also simply relax while admiring the lake, the mountains, and the forest from the cottage, the terraces, or the spa. All this is just one hour from Laval.
Our cottage is secluded and private.
The Cottage
The cottage offers a well-equipped full kitchen, a large dining room, and a living room with a fireplace (wood provided).
There is a bathroom on the ground floor and a powder room upstairs. The bedrooms are all located upstairs:
- Bedroom 1: 1 queen bed with a magnificent view of the lake and the mountain
- Bedroom 2: 1 queen bed
- Bedroom 3: 2 double beds and 1 single bed (bunk)
There is also a sofa bed in the basement (sleeps 2). You will also find in the family room in the basement a smart TV connected to Wi-Fi (Netflix, etc.), a video game console, and a mini-pool table.
Access and parking
- The entire cottage is at your disposal.
- The spa is functional year-round.
- A dock on the lake is accessible during the warm season.
The Neighborhood
Wentworth-Nord is a peaceful spot to get away from the city and enjoy the outdoors and nature. Lake Wentworth is a large lake that deserves to be explored. It is a navigable but peaceful lake. Due to its size and elevation, it is very pure and the water is clear.
Getting around
- There is no public transportation in Wentworth-Nord.
- There is plenty of parking space at the cottage.
- In winter, it is important to park near Lobel Road or in the upper driveway (avoid the lower driveway, which is steep).

Wentworth-Nord is a peaceful village where it is good to get away from the city to enjoy the outdoors and nature. Lake Wentworth is a large headwater lake (there are no other lakes upstream) with very pure and clear water. It is a navigable but peaceful lake, and the cottage is located in a low-speed navigation zone (10 km/h). Outdoor options nearby:
