Perched in the mountains of Val-David and surrounded by mature forest, Le Refuge du Cap is a contemporary chalet designed for those seeking peace, privacy, and nature — without compromising on comfort or design.

From the moment you arrive, there is a true sense of getting away from it all. The chalet is tucked away in its wooded surroundings, where trees, rock formations, and mountain scenery are an integral part of the property. The aerial views especially highlight just how private and secluded the home is within the forest.

Inside, the architecture is bright, clean, and minimalist. The open-concept living area features spectacular windows that flood the space with natural light and offer forest views in nearly every direction. The modern kitchen, with its large island, opens onto the dining and living areas, while the wood-burning fireplace naturally becomes the heart of the home on winter days.

The chalet features two bedrooms, as well as an additional space with a single bed, along with everything needed to enjoy a comfortable extended stay. The bathroom includes a freestanding bathtub and a large shower, all within a refined and contemporary setting.

One of our favourite spaces is undoubtedly the glass-enclosed room, finished entirely in wood and surrounded by large windows. Morning coffee, reading during a snowstorm, or enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day — it is an exceptional place to simply take in the forest and unwind.
