Aux-Rives-de-la-Chaudière

Located on the Saint-Lawrence south shore, only 20 minutes from downtown Quebec City. The cottage Aux-Rives-de-la-Chaudière is the dream place for: resting, a couple's getaway, family vacations, and office parties. Spacious and comfortable, it can accommodate up to 12 people in 3 bedrooms on 2 of the 3 levels of the house (6 beds + a double futon in the living room).

The many little roads around the cottage are very pleasant to hike or bike. In winter, the open areas are great to walk, snowshoe, ski, and snowmobile. In summer, two nearby campgrounds have pools, one of which also has water slides.

Warm in winter and cool in summer, the cottage Aux-Rives-de-la-Chaudière is bright with its many large windows. Well insulated, it has independent electric heating in each room. There is a high efficiency wood burning stove in the living room; it has a glass window that creates a romantic atmosphere.

The field stone basement has a bedroom with a single bed and a double bed.

The open concept main floor has the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The huge brick fireplace and the spiral staircase adds cosiness and charm to the main floor. The second couch in the living room, a futon, can serve as a double bed. A 2 piece bath, and the laundry room (washer/dryer) complete the main floor.

On the second floor, there is a large bedroom mezzanine (queen bed), a semi-closed bedroom (2 double beds and a single bed), and a 4 piece bath (bathtub, shower, sink, toilet).
