Our cottage was completely renovated in 2010 and is situated close to a lake. A creek flows next to the patio. While the BBQ fires up, you can listen to cascading water and savour a great time.
Our cottage includes a private bathroom, a TV with HD satellite receiver, plus a DVD player, a sound system, a telephone with access to local and (514) calls, fridge and freezer, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, stove, kitchenware, utensils and more. It is a fully equipped kitchen! Bed linen is provided. The cottage is carpet free.
There is lots to keep you and your children busy ? a five minute walk brings you the lake (or park your car) where you can swim and enjoy the 9000 square foot private beach! On the lake, you can paddle comfortably in the pedal boat or canoe; or you can play board games on the picnic table. Later in the evening, you can play pool or enjoy the company of nature and its quiet splendor.
On the other hand, for the more active vacationer - our cottage lies within a 600,000 square foot private estate adjacent to the 150 square km Regional Park Ouareau where you can hike the National hiking trails. For more information concerning hiking in our beautiful regional parks visit: htttp:/
/www.matawinie.org/. Our cottage is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts! Our cottage also offers you the possibility of ATV TRAIL rides in the Canadian wilderness. These trails flip into snowmobile trails come wintertime. Contact the Quad clubs. (Paradis du Quad Ouareau Inc.) or visit Snowmobile websites for trail information. For other winter activities, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are also possible. Come and take advantage of our winter paradise!
