Beautiful cottage located on Lake Jackson, just 700 meters from the Mauricie National Park. With a capacity of 8 people (4 bedrooms), this 4-season cabin is accessible by all types of vehicles. Surrounded by forest and offering a gorgeous view of the lake (a motor-free lake), it is the perfect place if you're looking for peace and quiet, but also outdoor activities. In the summer, you can swim in the clear and calm waters of the lake, accessible through the cabin's own private dock. You can also fish trout in the Jackson Lake. We have 2 kayaks, a pedalo, a paddle board and a rowboat that you can use on the lake. The cottage is located in St-Mathieu-du-Parc, 2 hours from Montreal and Quebec, 25 minutes from downtown Shawinigan (grocery stores, SAQ, activities) and 15 minutes from Saint-Gérard-des-Laurentides (grocery store). | Bonjour, je n'en suis pas à ma première évaluation du chalet mais je pense que c'est important d'écrire à nouveau puisque mes commentaires sont toujours aussi élogieux. Et devinez quoi !!! mes s?urs et moi nous y retournerons en 2025. Pourquoi changer ce chalet de location lorsque l'on si sent si bien ? Nous avons fait deux belles balades au parc récréatif à moins de 2 kilomètres à pied du chalet. Autre détail: les lits sont très confortables. La cuisine n'est pas très grande mais très fonctionnelle.

| Bonjour, je ne sais plus le nombre de fois où j'ai séjourné au Solitaire, soit avec des amies ou mes s?urs, mais à chaque fois mes commentaires sont excellents. C'est la principale raison pourquoi nous ne changeons pas d'endroit. Pourquoi changer quand l'emplacement correspond exactement à nos besoins. Il est près d'un lac, le foyer fonctionne très bien, c'est bien décoré et chaleureux, on s'y sent bien, on peut y faire de belles promenades sans l'obligation de prendre la voiture, si on veut de l'internet il suffit d'aller faire une petite marche de santé à 1 kilomètre. Le chalet est très bien équipé côté cuisine, 4 chambres super confortables, tout est très propre aussi. Les contacts avec la propriétaire sont efficaces, cordiaux et simples. Et bravo pour les informations très précises lors de l'arrivée ou du départ du chalet. On y retourne cet hiver !!!

| Nous avons adoré ce chalet et je le recommande fortement. Tout était parfait, les lieux sont propres, bien équipé, endroit paradisiaque, communication claire et rapide. Nous avons apprécié la proximité avec la nature, le calme, le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de réseau et le fait qu'il n'y a pas de lave vaisselle (propice aux discussions). | Tout d'abord je tiens à préciser que mes échanges avec Catherine étaient parfaits et que nous nous sommes fait confiance mutuellement ce qui n'est pas évident quand des milliers de km nous séparent :-)
Je suis venue au Solitaire avec mes enfants, ma soeur et mes parents. Nous sommes restés 4 nuits. Tout a été parfait ! Nous avons tous adoré cet endroit.
L'atmosphère du chalet est accueillante, rien ne manque en cuisine et la literie est très bien.
Le fait d'avoir accès au lac est génial. Avoir à notre disposition les kayaks et le pédalo c'est fantastique et l'eau du lac est excellente !
Le soir, dans le jardin, le vol des colibris venant s'abreuver à côté de nous, était un super spectacle.
Enfin, le parc est à 2 minutes en voiture du chalet.
Nous avons terminé notre voyage au Canada en beauté grâce au Solitaire !
