Come enjoy a wonderful getaway in a superb chalet nestled in a beautiful wooded setting surrounded by mountains and overlooking the Rouge river! Less than 1h45 from Montréal, this chalet is perfect for a large/ extended family or even a couple families to enjoy together. You can stay and enjoy the chalet, hiking the peaceful woods or canoeing or kayaking on the river, or venture out to golf, ski, or visit any of the many attractions in the greater Mont-Tremblant area!
In the summer you will enjoy hiking the numerous trails that span nearly 100 acres, watching waterfowl in the pond, or canoeing, kayaking, or fishing the Rouge river! Eat outside in the screened-in gazebo and enjoy cooking some marshmallows or s'mores in the outdoor fireplace. Take a picnic and enjoy swimming at the beautiful Lac à la Loutre less than five minutes from the chalet or one of the many other fantastic lakes in the region.
In winter, you will enjoy the gorgeous view from inside where it's warm and cozy with an electric fireplace or venture out for some winter hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or sledding. Relax and enjoy the satellite tv or bring your own DVDs or BluRay discs. Enjoy a day of skiing at Mont-Tremblant or Mont Blanc, both within half an hour drive.
Nestled in the mountains along the Rouge river between Huberdeau and Brébeuf, if you do decide to leave the chalet you will benefit from scenic drives in every direction! And if you need to restock on food or supplies, there are several small markets within 5-10 minutes of the chalet.
There is plenty of space at the chalet for kids to run around as well as books, toys, and games to play with. A crib and high chair are available and there is also a dishwasher, washer, and dryer. The layout is open and great for family time, but you may also enjoy some quiet time in the sun room or in the little window nook looking out toward the pond.
The kitchen is well equipped, including a gas stove, microwave, coffeepot, even a small blender and food processor. The three bedrooms on the main floor are spread out, the master bedroom is very spacious with a king bed, there is a small bedroom with a single bed, and there is another nice bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed. The other three bedrooms are upstairs, one with a queen, one with a double, and one with a single bed plus the crib.
It is sure everyone will find their special place at Chalet Beau Bois, inside and outside, and that you will create many lasting memories!

There is a portable air conditioner for the master bedroom and some fans but it normally stays pretty cool inside the chalet. The internet (satellite) is limited and can be slow. It works fine for most things but no streaming video. Please limit use to 2Gb per day so that others can use it too. More than 2Gb/day will be surcharged at $5/Gb. | Merveilleux séjour pour Noel. L'environnement est magnifique. Le chalet est tellement bien équipé. Très grande fenestration. La partie salon est très grande, nous avons pu nous réunir facilement 6 adultes tout en gardant la distanciation requise en temps de pandémie.
Michael est très accessible .J'y retournerai avec plaisir.

| Superbe chalet en nature!
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour au Chalet Beau Bois. Tellement plaisant de se réveiller et de voir les geais bleus dans la mangeoire avec la rivière Rouge en arrière-plan. Le chalet a une énorme fenestration ce qui permet de se sentir en nature même à l'intérieur. Tout y est pour passer un séjour magnifique. La cuisine est très bien équipée avec tout le nécéssaire en plus du café, de l'eau de source, des épices, plat à fondue etc etc. Nous avons fait plusieurs feux à l'extérieur et c'était magique. Il y a aussi des raquettes et des traîneaux pour les balades en forêt directement sur le terrain. Michael a été extrêmement disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions très rapidement. Une expérience 5 étoiles!

| The cottage is beautiful. The pictures don't do it full justice. It's cozy, very clean, it has lots of big windows and extremely well-maintained. All pieces of furniture go together and you can see that the place was furnished with much attention to detail, both for style and for comfort. We found everything we needed easily, fully equipped kitchen & amenities made our stay very comfortable.
The owner was very helpful and pleasant to deal with: prompt, straightforward with all answers, and kind. They provided us with tea, coffee and hot chocolate which we appreciated in cold winter time.
The chalet is in an elevated position with lovely views over the forest and river that can be enjoyed from the spacious outdoor deck.
We already know we want to come back one day!
