Large and quiet, fully equiped cottage with many extras, including an alarm system, central vaccuum and garage. Two fireplaces (fire wood provided) and three full bathrooms, with a washer and dryer. The water is high quality, sourced by an artesian well. We have a large hot-water heater, allowing all occupants to take a nice hot shower. Linens and towels are provided, except for facecloths.
Over three acres, the land has a small stream, a big lawned garden, a wooded area and 350 feet facing Lake Massawippi. A large balcony in the front lets you take in the wide open space and magnificient view, while ensuring your intimacy. The back balcony faces the wooded area and a small knoll. The cottage is close Magog, North Hatley, Orford and Sherbooke, giving you an opportunity to take part in a wide variety of recreational and cultural activities. In the summer you can play your favourtite nautical sports close-by (2 km) by renting all types of water craft. In addition, there's a boat launch and a beach directly across the cottage. Winter activities include ice fishing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The closest downhill ski resort is Mount Orford (20-minute drive).
