Welcome to Chalet Vert! In winter, the high windows allow you to enjoy the scenery while staying warm by the fireplace in the comfort of the cottage, or you can go relax in the spa. In the summer, the terrace allows you to relax and the "Lac jaune" offers you the possibility to swim or go kayaking or pedal boating. The gently sloping sandy beach is a great place for children to play. Chalet Vert is located in Chertsey, on Lac Jaune, about 1h10 from Montreal. The village of Chertsey is 15 minutes away and Rawdon is 20 minutes away. The Montcalm ski resort, a small family resort, is 17 minutes away. The snowshoeing/ cross-country skiing/hiking trail around Lac Brulé is a 10-minute walk away.
The Lac jaune is a star-shaped lake with no gasoline engine.
In front of the chalet, you will find a small sandy beach with a very gentle slope, the kids love it!
The arm of the lake on which the cottage is located is shallow (about 5 feet maximum) and there is a lot of vegetation. For children it is ideal because the first few feet are shallow and without vegetation. Adults who want to swim should take a boat and go closer to the middle of the lake. A small public beach is accessible within a few minutes walk. The cottage is equipped with one double kayak, two single kayaks and a 4-person pedal boat.
A 6-person hot tub is installed between the cottage and the lake.

At Chalet Vert, you will have:
On the ground floor (all rooms have a view of the lake):

- Living room with a high performance wood stove
- Dining room
- The sound system allows you to play CDs and can be connected to your devices by Bluetooth.
- There is also a baby high chair and a cot.
Upstairs:
- 1 bedroom with queen bed and balcony overlooking the lake
- 1 bathroom with shower
In the basement:
- 1 living room with a futon (queen size)
- Many games and books for the youngest.

WiFi - There is no wifi connection at the Chalet Vert. We are here to relax and disconnect from our crazy life. But for the more addicted, the various cellular networks (Videotron, Bell, Telus, Fizz) pass well.
Television - There is no cable or satellite at the cottage. The television in the living room has an HDMI cable that allows you to plug in your computer to watch movies or series that you have downloaded.
There are 3 parking spaces.

- Hand soap, dish soap and dishwasher soap, in limited quantities;

| C'est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons au Chalet Vert. Nous adorons la vue sur le lac et la grande pièce commune. Les hôtes sont à l'écoute et très accommodants. La propreté est irréprochable et les installations sont parfaites.

| Magnifique chalet, très propre et bien équipé. Il est spacieux, confortable, et même les journées pluvieuses y sont agréables! Le propriétaire est d'une grande disponibilité pour répondre à nos questions et on sent vraiment qu'il a à coeur la qualité de notre séjour.

| Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine au chalet vert! Le chalet est vraiment beau et très bien équipé. Il y avait même une chaise haute pour notre bébé et des jeux et jouets au sous-sol dont une petite table de air hockey et billard, parfait pour les enfants et pour les jours de pluie! Il y a aussi des ventilateurs sur pied en plus des ventilateurs au plafond, ce qui est très utile quand il fait très chaud. Le bonheur d'avoir un spa et aussi une petite plage privée directement devant le chalet, parfaite pour les familles avec jeunes enfants car le bord est en sable et pas creux. Nous avons passé des heures à chasser les grenouilles et les poissons! Il y a malheureusement beaucoup de nénuphars devant le quai, par contre il y a une petite plage à 4-5 minutes de marche du chalet, parfaite pour se baigner avec les jeunes enfants. Il y a plusieurs embarcations au chalet et on peut aller au milieu du lac pour sauter et nager (il n'y a pas d'algues au milieu du lac). Le propriétaire était toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions et vraiment très gentil. Un gros merci, nous avons beaucoup aimé nos vacances au chalet vert! Nous pensons maintenant y venir en hiver! :)

| Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. Le chalet est très confortable et chaleureux. Il est bien équipé. Les pistes de raquette et de ski de fond autour du Lac Brule sont superbes. Elles se rendent jusqu'à Rawdon! Après une belle randonnée en forêt, il est fort intéressant de relaxer dans le spa avec vue sur le lac. Merci Arnaud pour ta disponibilité et pour ce beau milieu de vie.
