About this property: Come and enjoy time with family and friends in a spacious chalet. This spacious chalet can sleep up to 14 people with its 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. What's more, the impressive kitchen with concrete countertop will bring your guests together to share precious moments, while enjoying the comforting warmth of the wood stove. The large windows on the first floor open onto a large terrace with a breathtaking view of the Picanoc River. The master bathroom, with its freestanding tub and double-head shower, is sure to satisfy your need for relaxation. The master bedroom have a large king-size bed with access to a private terrace overlooking the river. What's more, this private terrace has direct access to the spa. So you can enjoy the spa right from your bedroom. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed. You'll have a breathtaking view of the river from this room. What's more, a patio door gives you easy access to the spa directly from your bedroom. The third bedroom in the basement is the perfect refuge for children. Well-lit thanks to its two windows, this room features four double-size beds that are bunk beds. Each bed has its own independent light, allowing each child to enjoy his or her own little corner of peace and quiet, independently of the others. The basement office provides a quiet workspace for telecommuting. A large desk, a comfortable chair and a monitor are at your disposal. There's also a sleeping area in the office.
Finally, the basement is a real gathering place, with its pool table, dart board and foosball table. What's more, a wall of over 2,000 DVDs will let you revisit some of your TV classics. Come and enjoy this unique escape that's sure to create some wonderful moments for you.
Access to the property:
Chalet l'Évasion offers 2 acres of land. Enjoy an outdoor fireplace overlooking the river. Next to the outdoor fireplace is the spa, accessible from the ground-floor bedrooms. Put on your robe and enjoy the spa and fireplace area.
A volleyball court is available for games with friends or family. Patio tables are available so you don't miss a game.
A small private beach has been set up so that everyone can enjoy the river. The shallow river is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. This area features a gazebo to keep mosquitoes away.
You can also enjoy a trip down the river in tubes or kayaks. Three kayaks and several float tubes are available, along with life jackets and safety helmets.
Finally, a large parking lot that can accommodate nearly 6 cars will allow you to enjoy Chalet l'Évasion in the company of your family and friends.
Host availability:
I'm available to answer your questions at any time. Access to Chalet l'Évasion is via a door code sent to you 24 to 48 hours before your arrival. The rules and all other documents necessary for your stay are included in a book located on the counter.
Other things to know:
The Picanoc River is a small river with a maximum depth of about 5 feet. The depth of the river depends mainly on the rainfall prior to your stay. Finally, the Picanoc River can have a strong water flow (mainly in spring), so it's important to follow the safety instructions posted in many places.
