Welcome to "Le Snooze"!
A charming chalet located in the Pruneau Valley in Grandes-Piles, Mauricie. A small village on the banks of the Saint-Maurice River, Grandes-Piles is a popular spot for all kinds of water sports (including sailing!) and is renowned for various winter sports activities right on the river. The chalet is ideal for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. Unwind with the hot tub, sauna, and outdoor gas fireplace while enjoying the valley view. It is just a short walk from the water, where you have free access to the municipal park and boat launch.
The chalet accommodates up to 6 people across two floors. The ground floor features a bedroom with a queen bed, a living room with a sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower, a wood-burning fireplace, and a workout area. The upper floor includes a bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom with a bathtub and handheld shower, a living room, TV, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, basic condiments, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and cleaning supplies.
Built on a rocky outcrop in an enchanting setting, the chalet is surrounded by trees for added privacy and features decks on three sunny sides.
Located a 2-minute drive (or 15-minute walk) from the Saint-Maurice River, the Grandes-Piles marina, and the municipal park with its boat launch. Situated less than 1.5 hours from Quebec City and under 2 hours from Montreal.
