Rent your own private island with breathtaking views of magnificent Grand-lac-du-cerf. The 3 bedroom cabin is off-grid, but offers all the essential amenities (running water, hot water, gas stove, fridge, shower, toilet, solar lighting and wood stove). You will even have your private wood heated hot tub.
This little paradise is accessible by boat only (5 minutes from the municipal dock). The Island, measuring 55,500 square feet, is large enough to allow you to explore between swims.
Imagine having the freedom of an entire private island all to yourself, where you can truly escape the outside world and immerse yourself in a sanctuary of unparalleled privacy. This exclusive retreat offers you the opportunity to disconnect and relax.
Walking around the island, you will instantly feel a sense of tranquility and peace. The sounds of waves breaking on the shore, trees rustling in the breeze, and birdsong create a symphony of calm.
But before you get too excited...is this island experience for you?
1) The island is only accessible by water. you must have your boat otherwise we can travel $ or rent you a pontoon $
2) There is no television and no electricity (except solar) but a internet connection at 60Mbps.
3) We have running water and hot water (luxury!!), a shower and an incineration toilet in a bathroom.
4) You will need to bring your own drinking water, but the lake water can be used for cooking and brushing teeth without any problems.
5) There are 3 bedrooms (with queen beds), as well as a sofa bed in the living room.

Sleeping on an island is a unique and unforgettable experience! Just one kilometer from the village, you will feel completely out of place and have absolute privacy.
You will be able to witness the impressive beauty of a sunset over Lac-du-Cerf then admire countless twinkling stars creating a fascinating spectacle.
Relax in a cabin that has been thoughtfully furnished.
The cabin has a full kitchen equipped with all necessary dishes and cooking equipment, a gas stove, a full size (17 cubic feet) refrigerator/freezer, and a sink with running water (cold and hot lake water).
The chalet has a real full bathroom with shower, urinal and incineration toilet.
There are also 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed (on of them also with bunkbeds) and a sofa bed in the living room.
There is LED lighting powered by solar panels and 12v outlets for charging cell phones and other devices using USB charging ports and a very good internet connection.
On the balcony you will find a propane barbecue and a dining table.
There is 1 dock on each side of the island for mooring your boat depending on the wind direction.
There is also a pedal boat at your disposal.
There is a small beach on the island and municipal beach of Parc La Biche (with lifeguard) is accessible by boat in a few minutes, otherwise the lake is full of small isolated places to explore.
Grand Lac du Cerf is a navigable lake of more than 13 square kilometers and more than 400 feet deep. The water is clear and of exceptional quality because the development of its banks is minimal.
The lake is also known for water sports, scuba diving and fishing.
There are several species of sport fish such as lake trout, walleye, bass, pike and muskellunge.
private parking is reserved for you a few meters from the municipal dock.
Please choose from one of the following options to get to the island:
A) $0 extra: Bring your own boat or canoe to access the island. The boats leave from the municipal wharf located 1 km from the island.
N.B. A fee of $15 is to be expected for the obligatory washing of your boat.
B) for an additional $120: Book a round-trip pontoon ride. We coordinate a meeting time at the dock and take you to the island. We arrange a pick-up time to return for you at the end of your stay.
N.B. if necessary we can make additional journeys at the same price during your stay.
C) for an additional $200/day: Rent our 21-foot pontoon (capacity for 8 people) with 25hp engine and be completely independent to explore the lake as you wish.
N.B. Gasoline is at your expense.
The entire island is exclusively at your disposal.
The island is rugged and not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
* NB: Bedding (sheets and towels) is not included, you must provide them however there are comforters and pillows on site.
